Joe Meade Giles

Joe Meade Giles,84, of Danville Virginia passed away Thursday February 19, 2026, at Cypress Valley Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation.

Born May 10, 1941, in Virginia he was the son of the late Robert F. Giles and Lucille Wilson Giles. He was married to Mary Ann Giles, who survives.

In addition to his wife, survivors include one daughter Tangela Giles of Axton Va.; two sons Joe Conrad Giles (Tiawana) of Richmond Va. and Darrin Giles of Cameron Nc.; four bonus daughters Jacqueline Shelton (Remus), Janet Reed, Sherry Barley (Ricky) and Gail Reed; one sister Devern G. Robertson (James); a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, He was predeceased by his first wife Mary Cornelia and two brothers Robert and Andrew Giles.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday February 28, 2026, at 12:00 P.M. at The Only Way Church of Christ 128 Roosevelt St. Eden, NC. Interment will follow in the Giles/Hairston Family Cemetery. A visitation will be held 30 min prior to service from 11:30 A.M. to 12 P.M.

All flowers must be delivered by February 27, 2026, to the funeral home per family request.
